Whenever I post photos of Kapiti Island people enjoy them. I do too.

On a nice winter evening, the sunset from Waikanae Beach is incredible as it sets over the island. And well, the more I’ve explored the Kapiti Coast and surrounding areas, the more I realise how many epic views of Kapiti Island there are (unless the weather is like this and you can’t see the island haha).

As a result, these are some Kapiti Island photos I’ve taken over the years.

When New Zealand was in level 3 and 4 lockdown I spent a lot of time running along Waikanae Beach…so here’s a bunch of photos from the same stretch of beach.
