Who doesn’t love a good GIF!
I was inspired by a couple of things to make this page (I’ll add to it over time):
- This post from Marketing Examples is a great example of branding. So in order to start getting the Chur New Zealand brand out there, I’ve started to create some New Zealand GIFs that describe travelling in the country. Once I get 5 original GIFs on GIPHY, I can create a brand account so people can find these GIFs on Facebook etc.
- I wasn’t sure where to start so I needed some inspiration. I went to the New Zealand Backpackers FB group and made this post asking people to post GIF’s and memes that describe travel in the country. 100+ comments later, I had all the ideas I needed.
And now here we are! I hope some of them make you smile. Even if it’s just a little smile, that’ll be satisfying.
If you’d like to use them on your site, go for gold. A wee credit would be nice though!
1. This references a common mistake people make the first time they try Marmite.
2. Eating fish and chips on the beach sounds romantic. Until the pesky seagulls turn up. And yes, they will turn up.
3. Talk to anyone about their NZ trip and they’ll never shut up about the views.
4. When you discover the local chocolate brand, Whittakers, your life changes for the better.
5. Wellington on a Plate leads to over 200 burgers being available in the region for a short period of time. Gotta eat them all!
