I’ve read a few Te Araroa books, and I do enjoy them.
What I haven’t been able to find is a complete list of all the Te Araroa memoirs/diaries/guides…whatever you want to call them…in one place.
So here it is. All 17, in English, that I could track down.
There are links to the places I could find them available to buy (Amazon links are affiliate links). You can also find many of them in libraries around the country, as well as library apps like Libby and BorrowBox.
If I’ve missed one, email jub@churnewzealand.com or leave a comment below and I’ll add it to the list.

The one that seems to be getting the most publicity in my circles at the time of writing is Bewildered by Laura Waters. Pants of Perspective from Anna always seems to come up though.
The one I’m most excited to hear about is from Geoff Chapple, as he was one of first people who decided NZ needs a thru hike!
Happy to hear any of your thoughts on the books in the comments below.
